DIGITAL TWIN 2022 PROGRAM DAY

On Thursday, 6th Oct 2022, the annual DIGITAL TWIN programme meeting was taken place at PLNT, Leiden. More than 40 researchers and industrial partners engaged in the scientific and technical discussions on the integration of data-drIven and model-based engIneering methods in future industrial technology with value chaIn optimization. All 16 PhD students and postdocs presented their latest research progresses in AI, learning in control, AI in meta-model for metal forming, software engineering in digital twinning, data-driven control with safety, fault detection, robust control and many more. The plenary presentation of Dipl.-Ing. Albrecht Hänel, the head of the group Digital Process Chains and Data Analytics, Department Digital Production Twin at Fraunhofer Institute of Machine Tools and Forming Technology, presented recent progresses of digital twin technology in Germany.
